Trickle Flares

Trickle Flares are private 1-2-1 online discussions that can be used to raise concerns or seek support on the following issues: Bullying and Undermining, Patient Safety, Discrimination and Harassment.

We recognise that it is often difficult to raise a concern. Flares have been introduced to help if you don’t have the confidence to use one of the current routes, or if you have used that route but feel your concern is unresolved. You can choose which (and how many) responders see your Flare and interact with it. The site Associate Directors of Medical Education can answer Flares related to Bullying and Undermining or Patient Safety. Our wonderful colleagues from NHS Lothian Equality and Human Rights team will answer Flares related to Discrimination and Harassment.

Click on the link below to sign up to Trickle, or if you are already signed up you can send a Flare via the Trickle app or website.
